Vertus Educational is the area responsible for training, developing and certifying people to become mediators and/or conflict managers, and thus deal better with daily challenges in any area, personal or professional. The main objective is to teach individuals to better manage their conflicts without trying to divert them, transforming conflicts into opportunities. Vertus advocates the idea that conflicts will always be present in everyone’s lives, and the secret is to know how to deal with them rather than avoid them.
Vertus offers a large range of courses, presentations, and workshops on mediation of conflicts, negotiation, self-awareness and emotional intelligence, formation of consensus, nonviolent communication and restorative justice, all of them with the Culture of Peace approach, with focus on human development – which is in Vertus’ DNA.
Vertus offers an in-person course in mediation of conflicts, recognized by the São Paulo State Court of Appeals (with 360 judges), lasting 70 hours, with certification. It also offers an online course for certification of private mediators, lasting 21 hours. It received the highest evaluation by the Hotmart platform and in the student surveys.
Besides online training and in-person courses in Vertus’ installations, Vertus Educational also offers in-company courses and training programs, favoring access of managers to the training of employees. Vertus has already certified over 320 people in this format.
Vertus also trains conflict managers of companies. Vertus has experience in training key employees of organizations in the main tools to facilitate resolution of conflicts, with focus on communication and successful relations. When a conflict arises, the people with the proper training within the organization will be called to handle the matter promptly, in favor of a harmonious organizational environment, thus maintaining a united team focused on results and discouraging turnover.
Besides this, Vertus offers a program to train lawyers in mediation, giving them new skills to help clients in large negotiations and mediations, thus avoiding long and expensive lawsuits.
Classes related to the Culture of Peace, such as Nonviolent Communication, Formation of Consensus and Restorative Justice, among others, are part of the curriculum of the mediation courses and can be tailored individually, according to the logistics of forming groups and the needs of companies.
